≪プロフィール≫
　1995年、Peatmos名義で活動を開始。1997年、メンバーチェンジによりPervencheへ改名。USのSonorama Recordsがジャパニーズ・インディーポップを集めたコンピレーションPop Jingu Vol.1へPeatmos名義で参加。1998年には無名にも関わらず招聘頂いたフランスツアーでパリ、レンヌ、ボルドーを廻る。2001年、1stアルバム「subtle song」をClover Recordsからリリース。オーストラリアのインディーポップ・レジェンドThe Cat's MiaowのBart Cummingsがギターで収録曲"Ano Neko"に参加。その年、オーストラリアの人気インディーポップバンド「The Lucksmiths」のジャパン・ツアーを共催しツアーに帯同。2005年、オーストラリアのレーベルChapter Musicのコンピレーション「Songs For Nao」にCat Horn(Good Night) を収録。
　その後、メンバーのメインバンドでの活動が活発化するなどにより次第にフェードアウト。盟友red go-cartに後押しされて活動を再開したのが2016年。800cherriesなどで活動してきたタカハシマサユキをギターとしてメンバーに迎える。
　2017年1月にSmokebees（現在活動休止、メンバーはそれぞれdesksnail、h-shallowsとして活動中）とred go-cartが主催するライブイベント「New Moon Vol.1」へ出演した際にGalaxy Trainからリリースオファーを受ける。その後red go-cartとねこみみ編集部が主催するライブイベント「melodycat」シリーズへのコンスタントな出演でバンドサウンドを試行錯誤し、2019年夏から2ndアルバムのレコーディングを開始、途中コロナ禍を挟み2021年10月にミックスとマスタリングを完了。リリースオファーから5年を経て2ndアルバム「quite small happiness」を2021年末に満を持してリリース。1stアルバム「subtle song」から20年を経てのリリースという、あり得ない時間軸で活動する超マイペースなインディペンデント・バンド。
　現在のメンバーは、ボーカルのナガイマサコ、ギターとボーカルのサイトウマサト、パーカッションとベースのナガイヒロシ、ギターのタカハシマサユキ。
